Leaving 711 European politicians off of a list of most influential MEPs was bound to provoke debate. After all, there are many ways to measure power and influence, which wax and wane according to external crises and the political trends of the day. #EP40 was a trending topic on social media in Belgium throughout Thursday and now we want to extend the conversation.
Think we missed somebody important? Here’s a chance to make your voice heard on which, if any, other members of the European Parliament should be recognized as influential.
In the list are 25 MEPs who had been under consideration for the “The 40 MEPs who actually matter” list. Choose the one you believe most deserves to be considered influential.
