Глава ЧВК Вагнера Евгений Пригожин прекратил военный мятеж. Вечером 24 июня его наемники покинули центр Ростова-на-Дону, где они обосновались накануне. Сам Пригожин тоже уехал из штаба Южного военного округа на автомобиле. Жители Ростова провожали его и «вагнеровцев» как героев. Они фотографировались с наемниками, аплодировали им и скандировали «Вагнер!». В Кремле заявили, что прекратят уголовное дело о военном мятеже в отношении Пригожина, а глава ЧВК уедет в Беларусь.
